Counsellor, Psychotherapist & Clinical Supervisor
Gender identity: Non-binary
Pronouns: they/he
Neurotype: Autistic, ADHD
I have a passion for working with neurodiverse and LGBTQ+ clients, as well as anyone who wants to explore their identity, feelings, and goals in a safe and supportive space. I use a neurodiversity affirming approach, which means I respect and celebrate the diversity of human brains and minds, and I do not see neurodivergence as a problem to be fixed. I also use evidence-based therapies, such as; cognitive behavioural, person, and narrative therapy, to help you cope with any challenges you may face and achieve your desired outcomes. Whether you are looking for short-term or long-term therapy, I am here to listen, understand, and empower you.
Finding the right therapist can be a bit like dating, it takes time and patience to find the right one. Whether we meet in the counselling room for a short time or to explore a longer form of therapy, I always aim to provide a welcoming and safe environment.
When I am not working, I can often be found in the garden with my two dogs and chickens, working on a craft project or going to the gym. Keeping a good work life balance is an ever evolving These activities, along with clinical supervision help me keep a healthy balanced lifestyle to show up as my best self.
